Diane Cluck - Singing + Songmaking Workshop in NYC
This inclusive workshop is created with both new/never-before singers and experienced vocalists in mind. Diane relates the joy of singing through experiential exercises focusing on personal expression and physical sensation. 12-4pm at the Brooklyn studio of painter Lauren Luloff.
Warm-up includes a bija mantra meditation and creating healing sounds. The workshop progresses into collaborative song-making through improvisation. Tools shared can be used by experienced songwriters as well as anyone who's not yet written a song and is curious about the process. We'll touch on intuitive ways of singing harmony and how to join in on a song you've never heard before.
Group singing and song-making can be great tools to bring into family holiday situations!
$75, open to 12-16 people, includes refreshments.
