Call to Mind: Spotlight on Students
Recorded panel discussion: 10:00-11:30 a.m.

Call to Mind, Minnesota Public Radio's mental health initiative, will host an interactive panel with mental health professionals working with schools and families to help you identify signs of emotional issues affecting your students behavior. This Call to Mind panel will also discuss tools and skills to better support your student, and how you can connect to mental health services in the school and community.

Host:
Angela Davis

Panelists:
Christina Gonzalez, Director of Student Support Services at Richfield Public Schools
Renita Wilson, Clinical Director at Kente Circle
Eman Abdullahi, Licensed School Counselor at Saint Paul Public Schools

After the programming, guests are invited to explore the Science Museum of Minnesota's exhibit, Mental Health: Mind Matters -- a groundbreaking exhibition designed to build a greater understanding of the importance of mental health and create a respectful space for conversations about mental health conditions. Teachers in attendance will be entered into a drawing for a field trip voucher to the Science Museum, valued at $300.

Joint attendance of the Call To Mind panel and Mental Health: Mind Matters exhibit may be eligible for continuing education credits. Certificates of Learning will be available to attendees.
