Russell Bruner 2012 Reigning King of Boylesque
Description:
This class will focus on the high energy dance
style known as The Charleston as well as other vernacular jazz dance steps and explore variations and improvisations.
No experience required. All levels are welcome to attend.
You will leave with a brain-full of things to practice, refine and think about!
What to wear/bring:
Wear clothing you can move freely in and comfortable shoes with non-marking soles.
About the instructor:
Russell Bruner has been entertaining for nearly a decade in variety arts, and in the past few years has focused primarily on Burlesque.
This year Russell won "Best Boylesque" at the Burlesque Hall of Fame's Tournament of Tease in Las Vegas, making him the current reigning King of Burlesque. Russell has also spent much of his time performing acrobatics, partner dance, and juggling with the Wanderlust Circus and
Swing Time PDX based in Portland, Oregon.
