Description:
in this class, you will learn that fierce and fabulous is a state of mind. Based in traditional theatrical techniques, this class will teach you to hold your space and work in the moment which allows you and your performance to be as powerful as it can be. Part lecture and part participation, The Fox will take you through series of exercises that will give you the tools to find your fierceness and fill the stage. Hosting and Emcee skills will also be addressed and everyone in the class receives individual attention.
Dress comfortably. Ladies should bring a pair of heels.
About the instructor:
Foxy Tann A "female female impersonator", Foxy began emceeing in 1997 at clubs all over the Minenapolis area. Her tour de force production, "Miss Bi-racial Upper Midwest" has performed her to sold-out crowds at the Minnesota Fringe Festival and beyond. Her foray into burlesque began in 2006, when she founded her trio, "Foxy Tann and the Wham-Bam Thank-you Ma'am's", and won "Best Group" and "Most Vegas" at the 2006 Burlesque Hall of Fame tournament in Las Vegas. Since then, she has performed and hosted all over the world, appearing with Margaret Cho in LA, Immodesty Blaize in London's West End, and has emceed at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas. She also is the creator and founder of "Hardcore Pasties" creating a revolution in tassel twirling for everyone!
