This is the premiere fundraiser of 2013 and replaces our annual luncheon this year. Tickets are $150. Children 12 and under FREE! Your gift supports the PlayGarden scholarship fund.
Trimpin Bio: Born in southwestern Germany near the Black Forest, Trimpin relocated to Seattle in 1979. In 1997, Trimpin received both a MacArthur Genius Award and a Guggenheim Fellowship. His work appears in museums and galleries throughout the world. His tower of over 700 guitars, called "Roots and Branches" is installed at the Experience Music Project at the Seattle Center. Introducing the PlayGarden: The Seattle Children's PlayGarden is a garden, a playground, a nature center, an urban farm, a preschool, a summer camp, a public-private partnership and a magical space for children of all abilities and neighborhood children alike. Located in south central Seattle the PlayGarden is an acre of land dedicated to the right of all children to have fun, explore, grow and learn.
