Dr. Emanuele Ottolenghi, speaking on "A Sea of Troubles: The Current Disarray in the Middle East"
Dr. Emanuele Ottolenghi is a Senior Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies in Washington, DC. A graduate of the University of Bologna, Italy, and with a Ph.D. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Dr Ottolenghi taught Israel Studies at Oxford University for seven years (1999-2006). From 2006 to 2010 he headed the Brussels-based Transatlantic Institute. He joined FDD in March 2010.

Dr. Ottolenghi is a regular columnist for Standpoint Magazine and has contributed hundreds of analyses, Opeds, and essays to such English language publications as The Australian, Commentary Magazine, The Guardian, The Jewish Chronicle, The New York Times and The Weekly Standard.
MODERATOR: Sara Akrami, Iranian-Canadian student, 4th year Political Science, York University, author of articles on terrorism of the Iranian government and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.
