Bienvenido a España Wine Dinner series
Join us Wednesday, November 7th, 2018 , at 7:30pm, for our first in a series of Wine Dinners , as we explore the Food & Wines from the Heart of Spain with Chefs John Simmons & Jaime Villanueva and BREAKTHRU Wine Division District Manager Jeremy Anslow, . We will present a fourteen-course dinner while featuring 5 wines from Spain.
We will be breaking Spain down into three regions for this dinner series
Heart of Spain
Coastal Spain
Pyrenees
Each dinner will be a feast of many dishes, featuring seasonal and regional specialties paired with a variety of Spanish wines (sparkling, white, red and sherry).
Among the delicacies offered in our first Spanish Wine and Food Feast:
The Wines

-'09 Marco Abella , Loidana ,Priorat, Garnatxa blend
-'05 Viña Bosconia, Lopez de Heredia, La Rioja Alta, Tempranillo

The Food
- Stuffed olives
- Garbanzos con espinacas (stew of garbazo and spinach w/ham)
- Endive salad with cabrales cheese and blood orange
- Pan-fried chorizo in cider
- Bacalao (salt cod) fritters with lemon paprika aioli
- Mussels in tomato sauce
- Salmorejo (chilled tomato soup) with grilled shrimp and crispy Serrano
- Ensalada rusa (tuna salad) toasts
- Serrano ham, potato and tetilla cheese empanadas
- Grilled veggies with romesco and alioli
- Cochinillo (roast suckling pig)
- Paella Valenciana (w/paprika chicken, artichoke, green beans, red pepper, chorizo)
- Crema catalana (spanish style creme brulee) with sherried stone fruit compote
- Churros with warm chocolate milk
Cost of the tickets is $70 ,tax and gratuity is already included .
