Many of us tend to exhaust ourselves on a daily basis- mentally, physically, emotionally. Do you feel constantly depleted? Do you take your work home with you? Are you constantly pushing yourself to do more? Do you live on coffee and eat on the run? This workshop will look at our daily schedule, including times we wake up and go to bed, what we eat, the amount of time we spend connected to our devices, what we put into our body, when we exercise and how... and so much more. Balancing our daily output of energy with how much time we allow ourselves to relax and restore, is key! We will work with Traditional Chinese Medicine Yin Yang Theory and the Organ Energy Clock to see how we can adjust our lifestyle, foods we eat, and sleep patterns for a balance of Yin (receptive) and Yang (expansive) energies. This workshop will include discussion, journaling, and a Yin/ Yang yoga session. Yin Yoga is a passive practice that works with the connective tissues to release tension in the body. Poses are held for 3-5 minutes.

We are in a converted craftsman style house tucked behind the Red Cow restaurant on 34th between Union + Pike. To find us, take the concrete stairs to the immediate left of restaurant entrance. Come up the wood porch to the right and enter through glass door that says Unit C! Street parking is abundant in this neighborhood. Our workshop will start on time and the door will be locked, to protect attendees valuables & to support the sanctity of our space. Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before the start time. Colleen Bell is an experienced Yoga instructor. She brings alignment awareness with a sense of play into her classes. She works with the Koshas (layers of the body) and strives to meet students where they are that day so they leave her class feeling balanced. Colleen completed her 200 hour training through the esteemed Samadhi Yoga. She is currently working on her 500 hour certification through Twist Yoga Edmonds, where she took her Yin Yoga training and Ayurveda on the Mat training.
