The Sisterhood Music Collective Head South Tour
"Sisterhood is a collective of four female musicians who met through the Leeds music scene; Astraluna, Fuzzy Jones, Fran Wyburn and Miranda Arieh celebrate women in music through collaboration not competition.
Sisterhood live music events are uplifting, compelling and eclectic; each artist performs individually and then collectively as a band, accompanying each others songs both vocally and instrumentally. There is no headliner - Sisterhood aim to create an encouraging and supportive atmosphere for each other to perform their work.
As part of the event, the musicians also discuss issues that affect them individually as songwriters as well as wider issues that face women in the music industry. Questions from the audience are also welcome! Expect passionate discussions on mental health, ageism and music as a way to encourage self-expression!
Sisterhood also features Fuzzy Jones - a Radio DIVA favourite, having featured as a DIVA Discovers and performed on the Heather Peace Presents stage at Manchester Pride last year. Heather says...'Her music is cool, effortless and catchy'. Sisterhood will also be performing at the first DIVA Music Festival this year."
