2018 Hunkerdown SHOWDOWN!!!
An event for the unsung heros of the Vancouver film community. We technicians are heart and soul of this booming local industry and we have the pleasure to work alongside other creative and like minded individuals everyday. The strengths of our respective unions and guilds is that they are full of incredibly talented people who are passionate about their craft. Passionate about other aspect of the arts community too. We want to showcase some of those people here.
The Hunkerdown Xmas Showdown is meant to bring film bands together. There are way to many bands that have film tech player in one night though, so we had to get creative. Owner/Operator productions has put forward a challenge to the musicians and entertainers of our community.
Find the musicians amongst the crew of the show you are on, start a band, learn a setlist and play in a 'SHOWDOWN' against other productions!
So simple. so good.
Last year was off the rails. We hope you can come celebrate the holidays with us and help support the artists amongst us. And have a hell of a good time doing it!
