Laughterhours Comedy Presents: Refried Comedy with Richard Villa

Back by popular demand is Refried Comedy's founder Richard Villa as well as national renowed comedy magician Wacko Medilling, all hosted by local favorite Tony C. Tickets to the show are $15 With 2 shows April 19 & April 20 . With his comedy and thorough understanding of his audience, Richard Villa became the first Latino to ever host the renowned Hollywood Improv on Friday nights. Sharing the stage with various other talent such as Jeff Garcia, Carlos Mancilla, Gabriel Iglesia, Mike Epps, Orlando Jones and Dat Phan, Richard Villa quickly took over co-host duties at the Ha-Ha in North Hollywood, and the Ontario and Brea Improv.

In 2005 Vanguard Cinema released Richards 1st DVD, called Richard Villa: Performing This Way. His ability to appeal to the audience earned him a special invitation by the U.S. Military to perform for the troops on the Combat Comedy Tour which included Iraq, Unit, May, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Djibouti, and Saudi Arabia.

Now being hailed as the leader for the new generation of Latino Comics, Richard Villa exemplifies dedication to making other people laugh. With his television appearances on Mun2s Loco Comedy Jam, HBO Latino and Los Angeles based LATV, Richard Villa has turned his talent into animation, becoming a writer and voiceover for MTVs Latin animation, Chico y Guapo.

Wacko is not your ordinary event act. Wacko has always moved away from traditional magic shows and has developed original routines that will entertain any age. The audience is part of the show. That's right, Wacko's act is very audience participation oriented. He makes everyone feel as if they are part of the show. Throughout his career, he has performed for everyone from the age of 1 to well, all ages!

The Shows also feature host and MC for the evening Tony C. An accomplished musician. Tony is making waves in the local comedycommunity as one of the funniest and most talented acts in the area. Voted one of the must see acts of 2013 by LHC members!
