Through complex percussions and growling rhythms, BogTroTTeRs diverse collage of original compositions challenges the scope of modern day psychedelic bass music. His sound pushes the limits through his own unique mixture of glitch-hop, breakbeats, and psy-bass with a dark, swampy twist. Murky bass lines and terrestrial synthesizers are just a few things contributing to the lustrous sound field amalgamated by BogTroTTeR.

BogTroTTeR has seven releases creating complex terrestrial soundscapes on legendary Shanti Planti, Merkaba, and Addictech Records.

Utilizing a fusion of the chilled out, hazy influence from the Northwest and the lush vibrant inspiration of Northern California, has defined an entirely new sonic vocabulary. He experiments with many genres including Midtempo, Dub, Four on the Floor, and Drum and Bass and the result is comparable to an omnitempo psychedelic space safari. Hes known for converting brainwaves into tangible vibration that takes control of your body and leaves you tingling. Duffrey achieves this by combining an undeniable groove, rich instrumentation, and with his insatiable hunger for brain tickling soundscapes and squelchy bass, a complex sonic exploration to transport the listener on a funky intergalactic journey.

Duffrey is a resident DJ at Wormhole Wednesday, Oakland's premium bass weekly and has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with many talented artists including Bluetech, Ott, Opiuo, Random Rab, Andreilien and Tipper.

An expert in the arts of Hip-Hop, Drum 'n Bass, Reggae, funk, soul and almost every other beat driven genre, Tommy Ruffingers has traveled the nation and the airwaves via his turntablism skills since 1995. With nearly a quarter century of experience under his belt you could think that he might be taking it easy and resting on laurels. Tommy can be found sharpening his DJ skills and abilities with guest appearances at every major venue in Chicago, his home city, as well as highly coveted residencies for top promotional entities including The Freakeasy, React Presents, Cleverpillar Creators Collective, Soul Foundation and many more.

Tommy compiles many genres together as one style that he has dubbed Degenrefication. The sound can only be described as His own". Mr. Ruffingers flawlessly mixes, juggles, cuts and scratches the planets newest beats with the skillful hand of a master. Known for deep blends and his unique style of Turntablism. Tommy is able to create new rhythms and melodies by mixing and cutting existing songs. Making on the fly remixes while creating new sub harmonics that may only be heard once ever. Needless to say any mix or set by this artist should not be missed.

Often testing new original tunes from his own production collaboration with HEXES called Malocchio. Needless to say, you wont be hearing any Beatport top ten or festival anthems, instead expect carefully crafted set of selections curated by a highly trained ear.
