WTS October Evening Reception

In 2018 the implementation of transit system plans and infrastructure within the Puget Sound Region continued full steam ahead. In addition, the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) recognized King County Metros work to serve the regions increasing transit ridership and improve safety and access by naming them the best large transit system in North America! We were also fortunate to have new leaders appointed to key positions:

In February Hannah McIntosh joined King County Metro as the RapidRide Program Director

In August Kimberly Farley took on the role of Deputy CEO for Sound Transit.

Please join the WTS Puget Sound Chapter for a reception to celebrate these transportation leaders and hear a few words about their vision for transit in the region.
