This conference is titled: "CT Medical Marijuana Program: Cancer and Palliative Care Treatment Considerations"
This is the fall conference of the Connecticut Social Work Oncology Group. These conferences are held twice a year on pertinent topics for oncology social workers or other health care professionals working with oncology patients.
The program's speaker will be Angelo DeFazio, RPh. Founder and Owner of Arrow Alternative Care.
Mr. DeFazio is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, School of Pharmacy. He purchased his first pharmacy at the age of 26. DeFazio has been very active in pharmacy related issues, at both the state and national level. He serves or has served on various boards, which include the Connecticut Pharmacists Association, the National Retail Advisory Board of Cardinal Health, Community Specialty Pharmacy Network, Mercy Community Healthcare, The University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy Advisory Board, Malta House of Care, and was a recent appointment to the Connecticut Board of Pharmacy as a Commissioner of Pharmacy.
