AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS
FALL 2018 SESSION

American Girl Club: PK-1 Mrs. Ward
Students will learn American History in a fun way by listening to an American Girl book, create crafts to go with the stories, & use their imaginations while playing with their own American Girl dolls.
Thursdays: 9/27, 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25, 11/8, 11/15, 11/29
Little Bookworms: PK-1 Mrs. Keegan
Students will listen to and discuss a book , complete a related craft each week, and create a book log to take home at the end of the session.
Tuesdays: 9/25, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13
Cooking with Kids: PK-1 Mrs. Rossi
Students will listen to a story and create a healthy snack to go with it each week. They will also create a cookbook to take hom eat the end of the session.
Wednesdays: 9/26, 10/3, 10/17, 10/24, 10/31, 11/7, 11/14, 11/28
Gardening Club: 2-4
Mrs. Vuturo & Mrs. Hannigan
Students will participate in a varieiry of gardening projects at Holy Angels. They will also rake the grounds and decorate and maintain the Kindness Garden. Stories and crafts may occasionally be used to further develop the gardening topics
Fridays: 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/30
Full Steam Ahead: 2-4 Mrs. Pagano
Students will engage in hands-on activities with an emphasis on STEAM: science, technology, engineering, art and math. Participants will create robots with Cubelets, construct bridges with KNex and other materials, create cool art projects, solve fun math challenges and more.
Tuesdays: 9/25, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13
Art Club: 3-6 Mrs. Rahner
Students will create projects to benefit the community, create decor for the school's musical concerts & plays, enter Art contests, & help clean and maintain the Art classroom.
Wednesdays: 9/26, 10/3, 10/17, 10/24, 10/31, 11/7, 11/14, 11/28
Glee Club: 3-8 Mrs. Brennan
Students will experience the beauty and joy of music. There will be two concerts -
a Christmas concert and a Spring concert!
Tuesdays: 9/25, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13
Fitness Club: 5-8 Mrs. Messina
Students will understand the importance of being active. Together they can start their week on a positive active note!
Mondays: 9/24, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/19, 11/26, 12/3
Craft Club: 5-8 Mrs. Daly
Students will create different guided, seasonal craft projects to be taken home each week.
Thursdays: 9/27, 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25, 11/8, 11/15, 11/29
Debate Club: 6-8 Mrs. Daly
Students will learn to discuss in an academic manner various topics of current importance to the youth of our country.
Tuesdays: 9/25, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13

Accepted payments: Cash, check made out to HARS, or online payment via Brown Paper tickets (we are trying this as a new & convenient way to accept payment, a small fee will be applied)
*All Clubs require a minimum number of students to run. There is also a maximum number of students who will be accepted, and clubs will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. When the registration process is complete, you will receive confirmation of which club(s) your child is registered for.
