The SDC TriBecca's Muenster Maid Wrong Sandwich Night at HABC
Cam we kick it? Yes we Cam!
As you know, our beloved Chef Cam started making his own brand of local produce kimchis, aptly named Camchi Kimchi. While yall can score this magnificent fermented goodie on the HBFC menu, weve been working quite a while to get it in jars to sell the masses.
That day hasnt come quite yet but it is sooooo close. To that end, we will be celebrating the pre-launch of Camchi in jars with a pop up night at Half Acre Tap Room on Lincoln on Monday September 17th. Bonus: Cams partner in crime Becca (of TriBeccas Cubano fame) will be joining the bill with her latest sandwich creation that will likely be an addition to menu once we find the perfect space for her restaurant. (Side note: Congrats to Becca and Cam on the birth of their first child Emmett! Hopefully he will make a VIP appearance at the Tap Room.)
Becca will dish out a take on a Maid Rite sandwich, which we dub the Maid Wrong. Its kinda like the best loose meat burger-esque sandwich weve ever had. Fresh Ground Beef, Steak Sauce Aioli, Muenster Cheese, Agrodolce Caramelized Onions, and Green Tomato Camchi Kimchi on a Buttery Bun. GET IT. A little Everything Bagel Camchi Potato Salad on the side: Red Potatoes, Honey'd Camchi Mayo, Illinois Trinity (Onion, Celery, & Apple), Basil and Scallions. And SDC sous chef Alex contributes a highly addictive Grasshopper Brownie: Dark Chocolate Brownie with Mint Cream Cheese Swirl and Milk Chocolate Crunch.

Tickets include four 10 ounce pours of Half Acre beers.
