Oak Park Preschool Parenting Workshop - Winter Break Survival
Brought to you by First United Nursery School and the Collaboration for Early Childhood, this interactive workshop will offer ideas for developmentally appropriate, creative activities that you and your child can do together during the Winter Break or anytime.
Participants will go home with a packet of art materials to use with their children.
Led by Lucy Zucaro, MA in Art Education.
Lucy Zucaro is a 24-year resident of Oak Park, and has been with First United Nursery School, in various capacities since 2006, including Classroom Teacher, Assistant Teacher, and Substitute Teacher. In addition, she is a F.U.N.S. parent alum. Her son, (now 26 years old) joyfully attended First United for two years. She has also worked as an art teacher with District 97 and 98, and has run summer art camps for elementary students. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree from Purdue University in Applied Design, and a Master of Teaching degree (with preK - 12 Art Education Endorsement) from Dominican University. In her free time, she enjoys painting, sewing, reading and studying foreign languages.
