Join us for an evening with New York Times bestselling author Stephen Fried as he discusses the release of his latest book Rush: Revolution, Madness & the Visionary Doctor Who Became a Founding Father. Author Stephen Fried is an adjunct professor at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and the University of Pennsylvania & an award winning investigative reporter and New York Times bestselling author. His earlier books include Thing of Beauty: The Tragedy of Supermodel Gia, Bitter Pills: Inside the Hazardous World of Legal Drugs, The New Rabbi, Appetite for America and, A Common Struggle: A Personal Journey Through the Past and Future of Mental Illness and Addiction co-written with Patrick Kennedy. He regularly writes for Vanity Fair, GQ, Smithsonian, The Washington Post Magazine, Glamour, Rolling Stone, and Philadelphia magazine. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife, author Diane Ayres.
