Glam it up! Enrich your burlesque education with a lesson in glamour from past to present. This intensive course focuses on how to achieve elevated vintage and modern looks using ingenuity, local and online resources. Glamour queen Anytime Jones will teach you about costuming, hair, wigs, makeup, corsetry, and much more!

About the Instructor:
ANYTIME JONES is a Glamour Dynamo, artist and burlesque performer based in Minnesota. She has brought her elevated and decidedly vintage inspired glamour to stages all over the United States for 8 years. She is known for opulent details, big silhouettes and quirky characterization. Anytime has been collecting rare vintage clothing, lingerie and costuming for 20 years and has even sold her garments to museums abroad. She has an impeccable eye and a knack for curating millions dollar looks on a shoestring budgets, Anytime is an advocate of self creation and the power of glamour as a tool to artfully navigate life.
Anytime is excited to share the magic of creating visual moments of the body with thoughtful and individualized ornamentation/presentation. She hopes to guide her students on a path to achieving their highest selves on and off the stage through the art of glamour.
THE PLAYFUL PEACOCK ACADEMY, the first school of its kind in the Twin Cities, was founded by Ophelia Flame and Gina Louise, who have been performing together since 2003 and teaching burlesque workshops since 2005. The belief that there's a bit of showpony in all of us is the drive behind their mission: to teach burlesque technique, performance, and history while encouraging self-expression and body confidence, welcoming students of all levels and backgrounds.
