Beyond Banning the Box with Dr. Paula Ioanide
Although they are some of the most committed and reliable employees, formerly incarcerated people face significant barriers to securing employment and therefore to successful reintegration into communities. This workshop introduces employers and employees to fair and inclusive practices for applicants who have past criminal records.
Attendees will learn about the unique challenges formerly incarcerated applicants confront during the application process, interview process, and background checks.
Attendees will explore best practices employers and employees can adopt to make their workplace more inclusive and equitable.
