Embodying Rhythm Marimba Ensemble

Fun, groovy polyphonic marimba band.
Based in the North Fork Valley of Colorado, the Embodying Rhythm Marimba Ensemble plays funky music perfect for movement on the dance floor as well as relaxing journeys of the ear and soul.
In addition to different sized wooden marimbas, the 8-piece ensemble also features the sounds of trumpet, mandolin, flute, melodica, percussion, drum-set, Cajon, steelpan, glockenspiel, trombone, saxophone and voices.
The ensemble started in 2015 through their love of melodic percussion music. This concert will be the CD release party for their full-length debut album, which features original compositions by David Alderdice plus some traditional Zimbabwean tunes. Ensemble members include Arlyn Alderdice, David Alderdice, Daniel B, Jeanette Carey, Matt Drbohlav, Rebecca Drbohlav, Dylan Fixmer and Jen Sanborn.
