SPECIAL guest artist: Riley Lee, Shakuhachi
A truly dynamic program, internationally acclaimed cellist Kenneth Woods and shakuhachi Grand Master James Nyoraku Schlefer, team up again a concert of fabulous duos for cello and shakuhachi. It will feature New York, American and World premieres by Michio Mamiya, Sophie Pope, and James Nyoraku Schlefer (world premiere). Joining the concert is renowned shakuhachi master Riley Lee who will play Mushi Kuy (Insect Funeral) for cello and shakuhachi, and a classic solo, Sanya" on his extra long 3.6 flute.
