Trust Building for Teams with Erica Marx
When trust is present in a group it is palpable. People do their best work, they collaborate easily, challenges are met with a flurry of creative solutions, productivity increases, and work satisfaction soars. Trust is the connective tissue that holds the team together when they go through times of challenge and uncertainty and allows the group to emerge stronger and healthier as a result.
What are the principles and practices that build, maintain, and repair trust in a group? It turns out we can learn a lot from the world of improvisational theater, where specific principles and skills are used to create trust, innovate together, and maintain a positive experience among team members all under the pressure of performance where nothing is known and everything is possible.
In this fun, fast-paced, and highly interactive workshop you will learn new tools to: Express yourself fully Quickly build trust in the moment Access and be inclusive of diverse viewpoints Create solutions together, even when people disagree Repair trust when it has been broken Reconnect with creativity and fun
All activities are designed to be accessible, insightful, and fun for people with no improv experience. You will leave the workshop energized and with personal insights and practical tools to create trust and build positive, productive, innovative and resilient teams with the capacity to thrive under all conditions.
