Georges Lammam Ensemble
Georges Lammam (violin), Khadr Kaileh (keyboard), Naser Musa (oud), and Antoine Lammam (percussion) will be joined by local belly dancers Shoshanna and Laura Ayllón for a spectacular night of Arabic music and dance!
Georges Lammam, of Palestinian descent, born in Beirut, Lebanon is well-known in the Middle East and the United States as a solo violinist exemplifying the Arab style of instrumental improvisation and lyricism. The Georges Lammam Ensemble has performed at the San Francisco World Music Festival, The Legion of Honor Museum, the De Young Museum in San Francisco, The Fine Arts Cinema in Berkeley, and many more local and national venues and toured with the Arabic orchestra under the direction of Simon Shaheen representing the Golden Age of Arab Music, presented in association with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing arts.
