Cold Frame Collective Presents Schadenfreude: An Evening of One-Act Plays
Cold Frame Collective proudly presents their second production, Schadenfreude: An Evening of One-Act Plays! Waiting by Ethan Coen The Actors Nightmare by Christopher Durang
Lousy reading material, bureaucratic red tape, mix-ups, missed deadlines, an almost cosmic joke of ineptness... Waiting chronicles the story of a man with eroding patience in a waiting room. Ethan Coen of the Coen brothers, writer of screen classics like The Big Lebowski, Fargo, No Country for Old Men and Burn After Reading, takes his first dive into writing for theatre with Waiting.
Having casually wandered onstage, George is informed that one of the actors, Eddie, has been in an auto accident and he must replace him immediately. Hilarity ensues. The Actors Nightmare is a Pirandello-esque curtain raiser about an actor thrown on stage with no script.
Directed by Audrey Barrett Produced by Caroline Bobbitt
with Brandon Hood, Marley Graham, Kel Sanders, Mary Meiron, and Kathryn Lane
