Join us in celebrating the accomplishments of the JCCNV Dance Academy's students and staff in their annual dance recital. For the first time we will be presenting four unique performances over two weekends. Find the performance that best suits your interests and come support our dancers!
SUNDAY, JUNE 2, 2013:
11:30am This is our preschool performance for our littlest dancers, ages 2 5. This 45 minute performance is designed to cater to our youngest movers and support their interest in dance. Each preschool piece is choreographed and instructed by our preschool dance specialist Ms. Brenda Forsley and her assistant, dance educator Ms. Amara Forsley.
5:00pm This is our Dance Company performance and features not only our company members but our advanced level dance classes, adult students, and amazing dance instructors. This two hour performance puts forth the best of our dance school, and features choreography by Ms. Alicia, Ms. Xavaire, Ms. Lydia, Ms. Rose, Ms. Lesley, and Ms. Shelby.
SUNDAY, JUNE 9, 2013:
11:30am This is our youth dance recital and features all of our dance classes for dancers, ages 5 18. Our dancers auditioned in December to play such roles as Alice, the Mad Hatter, and the Cheshire Cat in this year's dance production of "Alice in Wonderland." This performance will feature only some of our beginning level classes: Ballet I, Beginning Jazz, and Beginning Modern. The remainder of our beginning level dance classes will be presented in the afternoon performance.
4:00pm This is our youth dance recital and features all of our dance classes for dancers, ages 5 18. Our dancers auditioned in December to play such roles as Alice, the Mad Hatter, and the Cheshire Cat in this year's dance production of "Alice in Wonderland." This performance will feature only some of our beginning level classes: Ballet II, Beginning Hip Hop, and Tumbling Skills. The remainder of our beginning level dance classes were presented in the morning performance.
