Manitoga's 2018 Resident Artist Kazumi Tanaka leads a special early evening tour featuring INK: The Color of Manitoga - a site-specific installation set within the main House west gallery. There, she experiments and makes natural inks with distilled water from Manitogas Quarry Pool. A large-scale map plots her collecting points over the seventy-five acre property, and a journal records dates, times and the changing seasons. Visitors are invited into the Lab to experience the physical transformation from actual landscape to paintings.
INK: The Color of Manitoga Tour Price: $25 per person. House, Studio & Landscape tour included. No discounts apply.
