Pitchfork Cafe summer roast at Boiling Wells, Bristol

For this month's event we will be at Boiling Wells, St Werberghs city farm's beautiful 2.5 acre oasis in middle of the city.
We'll be making the most of the long summer evenings and roasting delicious things in their wood fired oven for a multi course vegan feast. There'll also be a cocktail bar with exciting drinks using foraged ingredients, and a bookstall too.
There's plenty of cover in case of rain.

This event is also a fundraiser - profits will be donated to the Empty Cages prisoner support collective. For more information about their work, see http://www.prisonabolition.org/

STARTERS
Welcome nibbles
Som Tam Salad - Green bean, cucumber and apples with roasted peanuts, pickled coriander seed and coconut flakes

MAIN COURSE
Wood roast fennel with almond and saffron sauce, lemon roast potatoes, garlicky summer greens, BBQ seitan and roast onion puree

CHOICE OF PUDDING:
Coconut and passion fruit creme brulee

Chocolate and blackberry cheesecake
All vegan. Gluten free options, please ask

£20 for all courses.

ABOUT PITCHFORK:
Bringing delicious, affordable, seasonal vegan feasts to you - Pitchfork aim to host regular nights in different venues around Bristol and the surrounding area that promote tasty plant based food and community eating.
We like to cook food with ingredients that are bountiful and seasonal; foraging and using fresh ingredients and experimenting with flavours whilst avoiding pretentious menus!
We've developed our love for food and communal eating in varied settings: from cafes and restaurants such as Roll for the Soul
and Bell's Diner, to drag themed performances dinners and field kitchens that are feeding thousands of hungry activists.
Any profits made after costs will be donated to grassroots projects and organising.
