About Panelist Minoo Ashabi, Principal Planner, City of Costa Mesa:

Born and raised in Iran, I moved to United States for college when I was 16.

I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design and pursued a career in architecture in Oklahoma City and later in Orange County. Received my architectural license and at the same time in 1995 started my Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning at California Polytechnic University while employed by the city of Tustin. I worked on over 1400 housing units in the Tustin Legacy master plan. Started working at City of Costa Mesa in 2008 and have been here ever since.

I enjoy art and painting as a hobby.
