Summer Supper: A family-style feast with Chefs, Brewers, and Farmers
Magical things happen when brewers, farmers, and chefs come together. Come celebrate these relationships with an intimate sunset dinner on the Temescal patio.
The feast is centered around farm-fresh veggies and some very special livestock. Monica White of New Hope Farms will supply a lamb, a pig, and chickens that will be roasted whole on site. These animals were finished on Temescal Brewing spent grain--a protein-rich bi-product of the brewing process--and will be served alongside beers created from the very same grain.
It will be a 7-course family-style meal prepared by permaculture chefs Seth Peterson and Mark Dessert, with beer pairings care of Temescal's head brewer, Mike Makris.
Mike, Mark, Seth, and Monica will be your hosts and storytellers for the evening, offering a rare glimpse into the passion, hard work, plants and animals that help fill your plates, glasses, and bellies.
Please note that this event is 21+, and while we will have lots of beautiful green things to eat, it is meat-focused (and there will be no vegetarian main courses).
