SSPGC 7/18/18 Meeting: Tales from the Trenches What happens when Estate Planning goes Awry? Disputes from the best of intentions
Your client your donor your family! We all do our best to help devise and design planned gifts that meet the client/donors intentions and wishes. But sometimes in gift planning, estate planning or administration of those plans, things dont always go as smoothly as everyone hoped.
To make matters worse, what if there was poor planning, no planning or estate instructions that some heirs didnt like? What if the best intentions of the deceased didnt resonate with the family? What if all the planning was done with care, but there was still unhappiness because the size of the estate decreased or increased drastically? How does it all get resolved?
GREAT QUESTIONS! We have assembled a knowledgeable and experienced group of presenters to cover the subject from three different points of view and, yes, they will bring stories from the trenches.
Join us for this engaging and all-to-common experience to learn what these professionals have done bring your questions and expect honest answers!
Learn from Bob Pittman JD, Estate Planning Attorney; Kaarin Austin JD, Director of Gift Planning; Jeff Myers, Trust Officer as they explain what happened and how they worked to resolve the disputes and disagreements. See what works and what doesnt.
