Tango Music Workshop with Hector Del Curto
Star bandoneon player and Grammy winner Hector Del Curto will lead an open rehearsal of LOFT Tango Community Orchestra and give a workshop and demo on tango music and bandoneon.
Hector Del Curto played with Osvaldo Pugliese's orchestra, lead Forever Tango orchestra, and is the director of the Stowe Tango Music Festival in Vermont. More info about Hector Del Curto: http://www.hectordelcurto.com/
Rehearsal is open to LOFT members and Bay Area tango musicians (to play) and/or audit.
Lecture is open for all.
Schedule:
2:10 doors open
2:30-4pm: Rehearsal (please come early to setup; doors open)
4:30-6pm: Lecture
6-7:30pm: dinner (potluck)
