Seaside Rendezvous
Chef Alisha Elenz of Michelin Bib Gourmand Award-winning mfk. Restaurant partners with Split Rail Chef Zoe Schor, Monday June 25, on a multi-course seafood-focused dinner.
For the first collaboration, Elenz and Chef Zoe Schor, executive chef/owner of Split Rail, an inventive American restaurant in West Town, put the spotlight on seafood. All profits will be donated to Chef Schors charity of choice, MCP Rescue and Outreach, a non-profit dog rescue and humanitarian organization run by the tireless Marta Kenar.
Dubbed Seaside Rendezvous, the five-course seafood-focused meal starts with a welcoming beverage created by mfk. cocktail guru, Jason Lane, followed by a five course dinner paired with a series of unique rosés.
Tax and gratuity are included in the ticket price, so once you are in all you have to worry about is enjoying a fantastic meal!
First Course oysters and caviar
Second Course popcorn shrimp, shishito peppers, spicy aioli
Third Course smoked trout salad, ciabatta toast, asparagus, radish, english peas, green goddess dressing
Fourth Course housemade egg-yolk fettuccine, blue crab, snap peas, green garlic butter
Dessert peach tart, strawberries, blueberries, kiwi
The next Monday Night Chef Takeover dinner at mfk. will be with Chef Sarah Rinkavage of Lula Cafe and Marisol on July 9th. Mark your calendars!
