Prepare to be dazzled by an evening of vaudeville, circus, cabaret and burlesque entertainment presented to you by award-winning Studio VaVaVoom, the school where many of the performers hone their craft. Romantasy Cabaret is Phoenixs original naughty lil vaudeville, bringing you their 13th annual Cirque Nocturne on August 25, 2018, at Club Red Theaters, Mesa.
Every Romantasy Cabaret vaudeville show combines sensational dance ensembles, vibrant cabaret acts, slapstick vaudeville and tantalizing burlesque numbers. Enjoy jaw dropping aerial displays, low brow comedy sketches, awe-inspiring fire performances and oldey-timey cabaret numbers that hearken back to eras gone by.
Every seat is a good seat at the movie theater-turned-music venue, Club Red Mesa. From the up close and personal VIP and Reserved seating sections to the seat-yourself General Admission seating, youll enjoy unobstructed views to soak in every bit of starshine. Club Red also has an excellent sound system, ample free parking and offers a full bar with drink specials throughout the night as well as Red Owl food truck on the front patio to serve up tasty plates. Advance purchase of tickets for Romantasy Cabaret is recommended, as seats typically sell out for these productions. Guests are encouraged to arrive at 7:30 p.m. to be seated before Romantasy Cabaret show begins, out of respect for the performers on stage and the patrons enjoying the show. The cirque-themed show kicks off at 8:30pm.
The razzle-dazzle of the evening isnt limited to the cast alone. Phoenix nightlife fans are encouraged to participate in the experience by dressing up in costumes and garb befitting the show theme or of yesteryear to befit the old-time vibe. Some Cirque Nocturne acts are even audience-interactive and include willing audience participants. So, attendees should look their dapper-best when attending this soirée. At the end of the evening the cast comes out after curtain call for meet and greet photo opportunities and an after-party fete.

Studio VaVaVoom and Romantasy Cabaret have earned numerous awards such as Phoenix New Times Best of Phoenix for Best Vaudeville Entertainment 2009, runner up for Best Local Performing Art Troupe by East Valley Tribune in 2011, and Best Performance Troupe by the City of Tempe for 2012 and 2014. VaVaVoom, the showgirls of Romantasy Cabaret, won 2nd place for Best Performance, Group/Duo Category at the Albuquerque Burlesque and Sideshow Spectacular in 2012 as well as Best Group at Arizona Burlesque Festival in 2015.Studio VaVaVoom, the learning hub for many of the cast members won Phoenix Magazines Best of the Valley 2016 for Best Place for Burlesque Classes and Best Dance Teachers 2017 by Expertise and Mizz Lucy Morals was featured in Voyage Magazine.
