Astral Cosmica: Durham Show

Join Addled Muse Fire Theater in a spectacular story featuring the the zodiac and Ophiochus' journey through the celestial realm. Follow us through our otherworldly cyberpunk themed story, set to a 1980's inspired synthwave musical score written in-house!

Synopsis:

Ophiocus the Serpent Bearer, an egoic earth-dweller, longs to live on the celestial plane among the fabled and glorified zodiac. Throughout his life, he has aimed to impress the ethereal realm with feats of strength and power, but to no avail. In a last-ditch attempt, Ophiocus ventures to capture the sun as an homage to the zodiac, only to get burned in his endeavor. He then turns to Luna, the moon, a soft and delicate creature; as his next conquest, and successfully captures her. This results in an imbalance to the world as we know it, and Earthly devastation ensues. Realizing what has happened, a furious and frightened Sun alerts the zodiac high council. As a result, the zodiac is destined to reclaim Luna and restore balance to the universe.

Featuring a completely original narrative and music score, aerial and fire acts, dazzling costumes, animations, contortion, puppetry, acrobatics, and other surprises you cant see anywhere else!

Pre-show Act begins at 7:30pm
Astral Cosmica Performance begins at 8:30pm

Featuring an opening act from Absent Lovers.
