Not-So-Silent Films presents HAXAN
Join us for another amazing night of classic silent film with live, original accompanied music! Bob Banghart & Dave Hunsaker will perform a live soundtrack to "Haxan, A History Of Witchcraft", an historical view of witchcraft in seven parts and a variety of styles. There is a dramatization of the situation of the witches in the Middle Ages, witchcraft and witch-hunts. The film also compares the behavior of hysteria of contemporary (1921) women with the behavior of the witches in the Middle Ages, concluding that they are very similar. This film is unrated, but may not be suitable for children. (No real violence, but depictions of devils, demons, witches, and pagans abound.)
