Illvis Freshly is a funky, bass heavy, hip-hop monster. They've blended the classic sample heavy hip hop sound of the 90s with live rock n roll, guitar, rapping, and turntablisim. The two MCs, Danimal House and Doc Zoo, bring high energy, raw, and unforgiving lyrics with crazy flows and a wide variety of content and themes. DJ Mt Doyle is always on point, scratching, mixing, and keeping the party live. Phil Lyons absolutely shreds the guitar, captivating the crowd with face melting riffs and his ridiculously entertaining antics.
Illvis Freshlys debut LP entitled What Chu Know About Illvis? received huge support from the world-wide hip hop, funk and electronic scenes. A diverse collection of remixes from artists stretching from Vancouver Island all the way to the UK and New Zealand helped establish Illvis Freshly as one of the most progressive, accessible and fun acts in Canadian hip hop. This momentum was recognized in 2015, as Illvis Freshly won Best Urban/Electronic Recording for their song On The Breaks and Group of the Year from the Vancouver Island Music Awards. In November 2016 they released their sophomore album, Illennials, a take on our current state of affairs regarding everything from politics to the disenfranchised millennial generation. The album charted on numerous campus radio stations across Canada and also received commercial plays, with Upside Down ft. Caleb Hart being selected as the January single for Victoria radio station The Zone 91.3s Band of the Month program. Illvis Freshly continued their streak of success at the 2016 VIMAs, again winning Group of the Year and again winning Best Urban/Electronic Recording, this time for Upside Down ft. Caleb Hart. 2017 was another groundbreaking year for Illvis Freshly, completing their first extended tour, playing their first shows in both Alberta and California, and perhaps most importantly, cooking up a whole new batch of funky tunes for their upcoming project in 2018.
Illvis Freshly has become a staple in the west coast music scene, bringing their feel good party vibes to a number of amazing festivals including Atmosphere Gathering, Shambhala Music Festival, Rifflandia, Electric Love Music Festival, Fozzyfest, Boogaloo Music & Art Car Festival, Kamp Festival, Song and Surf, the High Times Cannabis Cup Canada, Quadrapalooza, Victoria Ska and Reggae Festival, the Five Acre Shaker and Tall Tree Music Festival. Whether its busting a move on the dance floor, rocking out to a killer guitar solo or being blown away by some thought provoking lyrics, Illvis Freshly has a little something for everyone. Mt. Doyle is a product of his environment The outstanding electronic music scene of Vancouver Island. Originally a purveyor of fine Drum n Bass, Doyle has expanded his horizons to include Funk, House, Hip-Hop and Bass, all with his soulful west coast flavor. Over the years Mt. Doyle has played lounges, clubs and festivals all over B. C. including The Commodore Ballroom and The Tall Tree Festival 6 years in a row. In that time hes shared the stage with international heavyweights Aphrodite, Funkanomics, Serial Killaz, Slynk, Netsky, Camo & Krooked and Andy C, not to mention many of the west coasts finest. With a mountainous lust for music and versatile style, Mt. Doyle will keep bodies moving any time any place with whatever the hell he wants.

DJ All Good (Peter Poole) is Vancouver Island's Premier Turntablist. Starting out rocking houseparties in high school, All Good carries a fun loving, anything goes type of style that always pleases. Love of great music is the foundation that his DJ house is built upon.
My DJ style is turntablism which is about techniques (sampling, blends, cutting etc.) applied to music using turntables. Instead of being genre specific (hip hop, rock, house etc.) I can play any type of music with the flair of a performing artist. My Philosophy is to select choice sounds, chop and mix using turntablist techniques, and serve hot & fresh on two vinyl platters.
DJ All Good has repeatedly proven his skills in battle, most recently as runner up in the 2017 DMC Canada Online Competition, 2016 Redbull 3Style National finalist & 2015 Western Canada DMC Champion! He's also placied 2nd in the 2013 Western Canada DMC finals and 2nd in the 2009 Canadian National DMC finals. Another testament to his party rocking skills is placing runner-up in Victoria's Redbull 3style battle in 2008. All Good has been invited to jam sessions with world champion Djs, including Craze, Vekked, Brace, Q-bert, DJ Woody, Shiftee & Vinroc. A highlight of his career was the chance to act as a guest teacher at Jam Master Jay's Scratch Academy in New York City.
Having proven himself on national and international stages, his next big project is known as "the TURNTEMPLE." this portable multi turntable mixstation travels to music festivals, schools, and communities with a hands on approach to the preservation of vinyl based DJing techniques.
