The Sounds of Silents - Return of the Allnutts
John and Laura Allnutt will be showcasing live music and sound effects to four short silent movies, Winsor McCay's The Flying House, Lotte Reiniger's Cinderella, Buster Keaton's One Week, and Harold Lloyd's Just Neighbors. These four films were produced between 1919-1922, and the musical selections span from the classical era to modern melodies. Several percussion and piano students will also share music and percussive effects. This will take place in the chapel at First United Methodist Church in Allen, Texas.
