Women's Handpan Gathering

Welcome to the first official Women's Handpan Gathering.

We have a beautiful weekend planned of music, jamming, workshops, delicious food, sharing and togetherness.
With the handpan at the heart of this gathering, this is a great place to experience and learn more about the world of melodic steel.
Note: Owning your own handpan is NOT necessary.

Why a Womens Handpan Gathering?
- The Handpan scene is rather unbalanced in representing female players, both on and off stage. As a handpan player, and performer for the past 5 years, I felt that something needed to change. This weekend is a start, with a chance for female players and enthusiasts to share and listen in a safe environment without any external pressure.

The Gathering begins Friday afternoon from 5pm and will close Monday morning before 12pm Noon.

If you are coming by car, the postcode will bring you to the beginning of the private drive, sign-posted to Moignes Court. Follow the drive around to the right, past Court Cottage, and the park in the courtyard behind the manor house.
Once parked, please come to the white arched door sign-posted East Wing, on the left side of the house.

If you are coming by train, the manor is just a 10 minute drive from Moreton train station, which is on the direct line from London Waterloo. The nearest Taxi company is 100 meters away, and their telephone number is 01305 854719.
