OC Young Musician Benefit Concert
OC Young Musician is a youth organization compiled of talented high school music students who utilize their special gift to share their music with the community. The group conducts concerts series and benefit concerts for various charity organization.
Corazon de Vida is an organization that is located in Irvine and frequently travels to Tijuana and other parts of Mexico to provide food, shelter, water, and fundings to support orphanages. OC Young Musician member, Nolan Kim first involved with the organization during November, 2017, where he traveled to Tijuana, along with a dental group, who provided dental services to children of three orphanages. These children traveled far to receive dental care for that day. Nolan and his brother, Aaron, contributed by assisting chairside, helped deliver instruments, cleaned up the treatment area for the next patient, and comforted the anxious children. It was a long, fulfilling day and the experience was enlightening to Nolan as he saw so many orphaned kids receive basic dental care, kids who required so much and had so little. Nolan desires to continue his involvement with Corazon de Vida since he witnessed first hand what significant benefit they can provide for children across the border by affiliating with different dental and medical groups. He has enlisted the help with the friends at OC Young Musician to help continuing on with their tradition and service.
