The Brothers Gillespie and Classical String Quartet joint concert.
This event is the first experimental collaboration between The Brothers Gillespie, who sing traditional and original songs rooted in Northumberland and the Borders and The String Quartet comprising players Sophie Renshaw (London Mozart Players and Orchestre Romantique et Revolutionaire), Ruth Phillips (The Breathing Bow), Lucy Russell (Fitzwilliam String Quartet, Royal College of Music) and Charlotte Fairbairn.
There will be a set of songs from The Brothers Gillespie and some Classical pièces from the quartet, culminating in a collaboration between the six musicians.
The Concert will take place at Alston Masonic Hall, Front Street, Alston, Cumbria CA9 3JF
Music will start at 7:30PM with doors open from 7pm.
Tickets £8/£5 concessions.
