Raise Your Vibration features Francisco Pais' original music, blending elements of his diverse cultural upbringing with jazz, rock, world music and pop. Originally from Sintra, a small village near Lisboa in Portugal, Francisco has an uncanny knack for bringing world class musicians from around the world together to make contemporary music of the highest level.

For Francisco, music can express the raw emotions of life in unique ways. His ability to find things in music that he can't in words drives his burning desire to avoid stagnation and shines through in all his work. Using jazz as his canvas and foundation, Francisco experiments and innovates with each new project, drawing on a vast array of styles, instruments, and themes, in turn allowing them to inform his music in true collaborative style.

Although firmly rooted in the rich musical traditions of his Portuguese upbringing, there is no complacency here. He pulls together the threads of his life experience to create his very own sonic world. As Grammy winner Esperanza Spalding says, "Francisco Pais is an incredibly talented composer and arranger. He is dedicated and I support him and believe in him."
