Science, Nature and a Biscuit- The Geology of Seward Park
Science, Nature and a Biscuit- The Geology of Seward Park
Saturday, May 26
Seward Park Audubon Center
$5 per person- includes your buttermilk biscuit

Bailey Peninsula, Lake Washington and the Duwamish River aren't happy accidents; just as they've shaped the modern city, so too have they been shaped by geology, climate, and Seattle itself. Local earth scientist and educator Devin O'Reilly leads a journey deep into time and thousands of feet down with an optional real world jaunt at the end to check out some outcrops in the park.

This is the second installment in our brand new series called Science, Nature and a Biscuit which invites various local experts to discuss science and nature topics from around the area. In addition to thought provoking naturalist presentations, we will provide food for the body in the form of hot biscuits with butter and jam! What could be better?
