2018 Maine Acoustic Festival Student Showcase
The Maine Acoustic Festival Showcase Concert is the annual Finale Concert to the statewide student music festival presented by 317 Main Community Music Center North Yarmouth Academy and Portland Ovations.
Maine's finest student musicians will be coming together in concert to perform a variety of Traditional music styles which have shaped America's musical culture.
The Maine Acoustic Festival itself is a statewide acoustic music festival for middle school and high school students who spend three days rehearsing and participating in workshops and performances. This year the three-day Festival will feature nationally-known guest artists Corey DiMario, Bennett Konesni, Ellen Gawler, David Surette and special guest Daniel Bernard Roumain for a full weekend of ensemble playing, workshops, coaching and performances. The weekend ends with a spectacular Showcase Concert:
