Anda Union - Music from Mongolia
On this nationwide tour Anda Union will bring to audiences across the country a group of nine Mongolian musicians dedicated to preserving and developing the age-old musical and cultural traditions of their homeland. Illustrating the depth and extent of the national and regional traditions of Chinese Mongolia and connecting with the diverse communities resident in Britain, Anda Union will offer a rare opportunity for audiences to experience virtuoso performances of traditional songs, interpreted through the unique skills and sounds of throat singing, long-song and the traditional horsehead fiddle.
