SOUTH BEND WOMEN'S MASTERMIND
There is something magical that happens when women come together in community, wouldn't you agree?
This event is for women who are entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, creatives, leaders, visionaries, artisans, change makers and solopreneurs.
The goal of this gathering is to foster deeper connections than are possible at larger networking events where you may tend to repeat your elevator pitch and collect business cards. You will learn to network and collaborate in a new and meaningful way.
This is not an event to sell your wares, but rather a place to help one another become more energized about our various endeavors. It is about personal and community growth.
Our special guest is Tania Bengtsson, Principal and Director of Marketing and Innovation at Gibson. Tania is responsible for all aspects of marketing, advertising, public relations, social media, and branding. She also works across multi-disciplinary projects with the goal of supporting a culture of innovation where ideas and creativity are developed into capabilities that bolster Gibsons mission and client experience.
Tania began her career as a Senior Production Manager at HOM-TV in Okemos, Michigan. She later joined AT&T as a commercial producer and director. Tania spent time working at an ad agency and went on to own and manage a media company before joining Gibson.
She joined Gibson in 2004 as Director of Marketing, added innovation and a seat on the Board of Directors in 2015, and joined the Leadership Team in 2016; all while unabashedly retaining her authenticity!
As humans, we are drawn to authenticity. It is the core upon which engaged relationships of all kinds are built. Over time, as we have interacted with the people, the institutions, and the world around us, we may have learned to conform. To fit it. Yet, often we find that fitting in through conformity is actually forcing us to diminish our best assets and talents. To be authentic is to honor who we are at our very core and share these best talents with others.
Tania will share her experience of retaining her own style and character as she embraces the opportunities life presents. She will challenge you to define your personal brand, reclaim your authenticity and remain relevant in all that you do.
When you understand what is most important to you and what you want to accomplish, you can be more effective in accomplishing your own and collective goals.
