Women's flat track roller derby is a team sport played on an oval, flat track. Five players from each of two roller skating teams (consisting of a jammer, pivot, and three blockers), compete to score points when the jammer from each team attempts to pass the rest of the skaters on the track.
Formed in August 2011, the Punishers are a not-for-profit organization and boast an all-star lineup of skaters from the Decatur, Springfield, and surrounding areas. Join Central Illinois' favorite roller girls for a night of fun and excitement.
The Prairieland Punishers are women from all walks of life who have a love for skating, physical fitness, and a dedication to community service. See the Punishers at the bout or find out more about roller derby by visiting www.prairielandpunishers.com or find us on Facebook!
