Beyond Borders
Beyond Borders is an Alaska Institute for Justice fundraising event that will provide local immigrants an opportunity to share their unique stories with the public. This evening centers around seven community members who will each present a short, personal narrative. This year we will feature several recipients of Deferred Action For Childhood Arrivals (DACA), also know as Dreamers. Together these stories emphasize that our diverse immigrant population brings strength, economic vitality, and resilience to our community.
