Waterfront Engineering - Lateral Pile Design for Seismic Regions

What: Topics covered include liquefaction, lateral spreading and Lateral pile design.  
Speakers: Pedro Arduino, Ph.D. and Arash Khosravifar, Ph.D.

The 2018 ASCE Seattle Section Geotechnical Group is pleased to announce the 2018 Short Course will be on the 76th floor of the Columbia Tower! The course emphasis will be on seismic aspects of geotechnical analysis and will be conducted by experts in this field. Professor Pedro Arduino from the University of Washington will conduct the course on lateral spreading while Dr. Arash Khosravifar from Portland State University will be covering lateral pile analysis and design for waterfront structures.

Course attendees will be eligible to receive 0.7 Continuing Education Units (CEU) or 7 Professional Development Hours (PDH).

Early registration ends Friday, March 30.
