Greco-Armenian Collaborative Supper Experience

One part club fundraiser rescheduled, one part collaborative exploration, come March 27 at revolver, chef Julién Godman will be partnering with close friend and masterful culinary Greco-enchantress, Georgia Diamantopoulos -- who will be bringing some of her favorite recipes of hearth and home, from the hills of Peloponnesus.

Evening will be full of endless herbal tea, seven courses (meat, vegetarian, and vegan inclusive), and an after supper Surprise.

Plus a live band, Stella's Ghost, a Detroit-based ensemble that plays Rembetika music also known as the Greek blues. Stella's Ghost is named after Greektown's Stella Paris.

Course 1: Jajik, Peppers & Pita
(vegan: Kidney Bean Walnut Pâté

Course 2: Eetch w/Fresh Herbs, Orange Angostura, Romaine

Course 3: Spanakopita
Spinach and leek pie with homemade phyllo, graviera cheese and sumac. Drizzled with EVOO from the family farm
(vegan: no cheese)

Course 4: Mustard Greens, Sorrel, Chickpeas in Verdant Broth
(meat option with lamb)

Course 5: Moussaka
Layers of potato, eggplant, zucchini, ground beef and béchamel with red sauce and celery
(vegan: cegetables, portobello, shiitake & white mushroom, w/soy milk béchamel)

Course 6: Portokalopita
Orange phyllo cake with shaved dark chocolate
(vegan: orange spice halva)

Course 7: Stuffed & Roasted Figs in Pomegranate Molasses, Pecans w/Whipped Pisatachio Cream & Fresh Cardamom
(vegan: pistachio, red currant agar agar jam)
